Stupid Camera...

It deleted all the pictures that I'd taken this past week. I don't know how to break it to Emily that her pictures that she took at her field trip last week were on there...urgh. Now all the pretty pictures of the Logan temple and flowers and my trip to Utah Lake this past weekend are gone. Tears of agony streak down my face!

So, to try to make up for it(and failing at it), here's some blossoms Christopher brought home from school today:

Pear Tree Blossoms

So our pear tree has one of those odd year things where it will grow lots and lots of pears one year then not so many the next year. Last year we had millions of pears, so it goes to show that this year is one of those lesser years. Took some spying to find these beautiful blossoms hiding amongst the leaves.

I Got Another Bookshelf!

For my birthday present from my mom, we went bookshelf shopping yesterday and found a beautiful bookshelf that matches my other one. Here are the major steps of making a bookshelf:

1. Examine the bookshelf in the before picture.

2. Get your sister to take a picture of yourself and the box.

3. Set out all the pieces. Smell the wonderful smell of new wood.

4. Build the bookshelf. Follow the directions CLOSELY! (picture not shown here)

5. Rearrange all the books, notebooks, and bring out the ceramics that were kicked off the previous bookshelf due to the absence of room. Plenty of room now!

I'm so proud of my handiwork. All series go on the new shelf; single novels go on the left, along with single books from series. So excited! It smells yummy too.

Here's a picture I took from school so you don't feel left out from springtime:

Rainy

It's been rainy all day today, ranging from a drizzle to a downpour. Here are a few snaps I took on the way home from school.

Happy Birthday to Me!

It was my 17th birthday yesterday! Happy birthday to me! Down below are the presents I received:

This awesome candle of awesomeness was from my good buddy Mimi. Thank you sooooo much! Maybe I'll actually find a reason to use it...

The Symphony bar and vase of flowers came from my YW leaders. The flowers are so pretty!

The above purse and Sea Island Cotton set came from my Aunt Michelle, whose birthday is today. Happy birthday, Michelle and thank you!

This set of lotion and perfume came from my Grandma Linda. It smells wonderful!

The first three books of the Maximum Ride series by James Patterson (If you haven't read it yet...read it now!) came from my step-mom and my dad. Thank you for the chance to add to my overflowing bookshelf!

Fang, the sixth book in the Maximum Ride series, came from my friend Sierra. You can't believe how much I appreciate this! It just came out two months ago, so I was really happy to get it. (Like, I was glomping her and jumping all around the room when I saw it.)

Thank you friends and family for not forgetting me and giving me these wonderful presents!

Skitzo Weather

The weather just couldn't make up it's mind today. It was really sunny this morning, followed by snow, followed by rain, followed by sunshine again. Not to mention the freezing wind that came and went. Argh! At least some of the pictures I took turned out fine...

In truth, this was taken earlier this week, but it didn't look any different than this morning. Yay! The pear tree has finally grown some blossoms! Not many, but it's a start.

Rain, rain, go away, come again...never? This was also the pear tree.

The snow from this afternoon. Too bad it didn't kill off the dandelions.

Went around with sister Rachel and took some more pictures of rain and such. I got dripped on too often to be comfortable.

Too Cute of a Find!

I found this video among the many pictures and such my dad took when he took me and my brother Christopher to California to visit some of his friends there. I think I was 4 or 5 years old for this. So cute!

Here are a few of the pictures as well:
